Chavka

Chavka is a village in Kirkovo Municipality, in Kardzhali Province, Bulgaria. Chavka lies at 640 m above sea level, in the Eastern Rhodopes mountains. It has 20 inhabitants (2025). The nearest city is Kardzhali, 26 km to the north. Near the border: Greece, 13 km. Among the landmarks around are Perperikon (34 km), Mosynopolis (33 km) and Tatul Sanctuary (16.4 km). Among the natural features are Makaza (16.3 km) and Огледалната пещера (4.7 km).
