Agios Nikolaos is a village in Karpenisi Municipality, in the regional unit of Evritania, in the region of Central Greece, Greece. Agios Nikolaos lies at 1,020 m above sea level, at the foot of the Tymfristos mountains. It has 244 inhabitants (2021). The nearest city is Agrinio, 49 km to the southwest. Among the landmarks around are Sperchiae (15.0 km), Prousou Monastery (24 km) and Thermos (41 km).
