Kallithea is a village in Platanias Municipality, in the regional unit of Chania, in the region of Crete, Greece. Kallithea lies 2.5 km from the Lefka Ori mountains. It has 70 inhabitants (2021). The nearest city is Chania, 19.7 km to the east. Beaches nearby: Tavronitis (4 km), Rapaniana (4.9 km), Máleme Beach (5.1 km). Among the landmarks around are Kydonia (19.5 km), Gonia Monastery (6.3 km) and Polyrrhenia (14.0 km). Among the natural features are Olive tree of Vouves (2.2 km) and Lazaretta (17.7 km).
