Úbrež is a municipality in Sobrance District, in the Košice Region, Slovakia. Úbrež lies at 130 m above sea level, at the foot of the Vihorlat mountains. It has 1,141 inhabitants (2025). The nearest city is Michalovce, 15.7 km to the west. Near the border: Ukraine, 16 km. Among the landmarks around are Church of Saint Nicolas of Ruská Bystrá (14.6 km), Viniansky Castle (13.6 km) and Uzhhorod Castle (23 km). Among the natural features are Tri tably (15.4 km).
