Levice is a town in Levice District, in the Nitra Region, Slovakia. Levice lies at 165 m above sea level, 8.9 km from the Štiavnica mountains, by the Podlužianka. It has 30,161 inhabitants (2025). The nearest city is Komárno, 24 km to the west. Among the landmarks around are Hronský Beňadik monastery (14.5 km), Nitra Castle (40 km) and Levice Castle (0.5 km).
