Studenec is a municipality in Levoča District, in the Prešov Region, Slovakia. Studenec lies at 463 m above sea level, at the foot of the Levoča mountains. It has 566 inhabitants (2025). The nearest city is Spišská Nová Ves, 16.9 km to the west. Among the landmarks around are Spiš Castle (1.4 km), St Martin's Cathedral (2.6 km) and Basilica of St. James (13.3 km). Among the natural features are Dobšiná Ice Cave (38 km) and Branisko (6.5 km).
