Ahlat is a city in Ahlat District, in Bitlis Province, Türkiye. Ahlat lies at 1,650 m above sea level, 1.3 km from the Armenian highlands mountains. It has 28,904 inhabitants (2022). The nearest city is Tatvan, 34 km to the southwest. Among the landmarks around are Tombstones of Ahlat (3.4 km), Nemrut (26 km) and Emir Bayındır Mosque (3.1 km).
