Çalış is a town in Avanos District, in Nevşehir Province, Türkiye. Çalış lies 3.2 km from the Anatolian plateau mountains. It has 1,810 inhabitants (2022). The nearest city is Ürgüp, 39 km to the south. Among the landmarks around are Göreme Historical National Park (37 km), Haji Bektash Veli Complex (27 km) and Ochras (6.4 km).
