Karakapı is a town in Altunhisar District, in Niğde Province, Türkiye. Karakapı lies at 1,376 m above sea level, at the foot of the Mount Hasan mountains. It has 2,425 inhabitants (2022). The nearest city is Aksaray, 37 km to the northwest. Among the landmarks around are Ihlara valley (25 km), Aşıklı Höyük (33 km) and Tyana (40 km).
